We all tell a story with our lives, and my story is one of resilience and hope. My upbringing was deeply influenced by my mother, who showed incredible strength as a single parent after the passing of my father, a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Her determination to attend nursing school left a lasting impression on me, instilling values of commitment, perseverance, and gratitude.
I pursued my education at the University of Alabama, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. During my time there, I actively participated in Students for Fair Labor, and together with my peers, we successfully encouraged the University to affiliate with the Worker Rights Consortium, an organization dedicated to monitoring labor rights.
After graduating, my professional journey flourished in Birmingham, managing quality assurance agents within the tech industry. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication skills and service orientation. I am proud of the person I have become, cultivated by Jefferson County and the people I have been blessed to meet within its borders.
Now, I am ready to take my passion for community and service to the next level as a candidate for State House District 55. I believe in the power of unity and the importance of every voice being heard and valued. Together, with the communities of District 55, I am dedicated to building a stronger and more united Alabama, creating a brighter future for all of us. Let's work together and make positive change happen!
